Teams plan a structure at least 20 cm tall that stands independently, has a usable doorway, and holds a mini pumpkin or tennis ball on its roof for ten seconds. The two-page resource includes materials, rules, five timed steps, and a first-test versus improved-test record.

The suggested steps total about 50 minutes. Use classroom scissors and adult supervision appropriate to your students, test on a clear tabletop, and keep the roof load small. Decorations can be cheerful fall designs or Halloween-themed.
